Sponsored by the matriarchy of Betazed, the Betazed Flourish is presented
to those officers who, through the course of their duties with Starfleet,
have contributed to the benevolent understanding of the psionic sciences
and disciplines. |
| Cluster Medal for Dedication |
 |
Awarded to Officers and non commissioned members of Starfleet with three
distinct levels (red, silver and gold), this award is given to members who
have demonstrated superior dedication to Starfleet Command and the United
Federation of Planets. |
| Cochrane Medal |
 |
Awarded to the greatest Engineeing minds in all of Starfleet, for discoveries
or improvement on technologies that improve our way of life. |
| Crew Recognition Award |
 |
This ribbon is awarded to an officer whom the crew recognizes as a leader
among them, and whose performance inspires them to emulate him/her. |
| Defense Meritorious Service Medal |
 |
Awarded to recognize peace-time meritorious achievement. Given under
similar circumstances to the Defense Superior Service Medal, but for service
or achievement in a position of lesser responsibility than required for
the DSSM.

| Defense Superior Service Medal |
 |
Awarded to officers who have performed acts above and beyond the call
of duty in defense of Starfleet. |
| Exploration Ribbon |
 |

| Federation Meritorious Achievement Medal |
 |
Awarded to members of Starfleet for exceptional achievement which substantially
contributes to the accomplishment of Federation missions or major programs.

| Federation Peace Medal |
 |
Awarded to Star Fleet personnel for superior achievement while working
towards policies of peace. |
| Federation Superior Achievement Medal |
 |
Awarded to members of Starfleet for superior achievement which contributes
to the accomplishment of Federation missions. |
| Good Conduct Medal |
 |
Awarded to officers annually for Good Conduct. |
| Hawking Cross |
 |
Awarded for scientific achievement and innovation. As with many things
in the scientific community, nominees for the Sobek-Hawking Cross are subject
to intense scrutiny and peer review, and many consider it an honor just
to be nominated for this august award. The winner is selected by a panel
of peers, and the Cross is presented in a formal gathering held annually
at the Vulcan Science Academy. |
| Humanitarian Service Medal |

Awarded to officers who have directly participated in a humanitarian act
or operation designated by Starfleet Command. |
| Medal of Excellence |
 |
Awarded to Officers and non commissioned members of Starfleet who provided
volunteer services to Starfleet Command and the United Federation of Planets
above and beyond the normal participation of said member. |
