| Command Achievement Medal |

This award is given to a commander who, while exposed to personal risk,
achieved more than could have reasonably been expeced. |
| Command Accomplishment Medal |
 |
Sometimes known as the Commander's Medal. This is given for the accomplishment
of a mission. In peace time, most ship commanders receive one at the end
of their tour of command. In wartime, one is awarded for each decisive victory
over an enemy ship or for any mission accomplished at great risk. |
